Arden Stones

Danielle Richardson grew up in a military family. Thanks to this she lived in the Philippines when she was younger. She recalls going to the beaches and markets where there were always a ton of gemstone jewels.

“I was amazed,” she says. “I started to have a small collection from my childhood ranging from raw stones to jewelry.”

That collection, and her love for stones, grew and she decided to launch Arden Stones, an artisan boutique based in Columbus that offers handmade jewelry made with natural gemstones and high quality mixed-metals.

Designing and creating jewelry started out as a hobby for Richardson, before it grew into a passionate business for her in 2018.

“I wanted to make jewelry to allow people to express themselves, whether it’s wearing a unique necklace, a simple bracelet, or an entire stack of colorful gems,” she says. “As I create more pieces, I enjoy learning more about all of the different stones.”

At Arden Stones you’ll find a variety of pieces available. These include high-quality, affordable bracelets necklaces, and earrings with price points that range from $17 to $60.

The jewelry sold by Arden Stones is made of stones that are ethically sourced. “We only choose the best quality from our suppliers,” says Richardson. “Arden Stones offers on-trend jewelry for everyone. I like to make everyone feel welcomes, so I create jewelry for men, women, and children, and I offer them in different wrist sizes. I guarantee everyone will find something they like.”

Since Richardson has been creating jewelry for a while, she’s looking to expand in the bridal industry this year. “Since creating my own jewelry for my wedding, I’m working on offering a bridal collection in the near future,” she says.

You can find Arden Stones at pop-ups around Columbus this year including Cbus Chic’s Women in Business Sip ‘n Shop on March 7, the Bridal Soiree on March 15, and the Spring Shopping Expo at Pinnacle Golf Course on March 22.
