Buri and Beach Hosting 5 Day Pop-Up to Benefit Dress for Success

Our sister publication, Cincy Chic, recently hosted a fashion show with Buri & Beach last month that benefited Dress for Success. They recently announced that they’re teaming up with a Columbus-based store to also benefit Dress for Success! And they’re even offering a discount at the event, so you’ll get some great deals too!

Kind Style Shop & Buri and Beach Announced 5-Day Spring Pop-Up Shop

Columbus based handbag startups, Kind Style Shop & Buri and Beach, will be hosting a pop-up shop and handbag drive benefitting Dress for Success Columbus at The Shops at Worthington from April 25through April 29. Customers donating a new or gently used handbag will receive a 25% discount on their assortment.
Buri and Beach recently launched their online shop last January offering eco-friendly straw bags handwoven by artisans in the Philippines. Rick Jardiolin, the founder and designer, is excited to be supporting Dress for Success a second time.
Jardiolin says, “We just wrapped up a fashion show benefitting Dress for Success Cincinnati and strongly support this organization. Their mission is aligned with ours, supporting and empowering women to gain economic independence and providing resources to help them succeed in life. Buri and Beach works directly with co-ops run by women for women, providing them jobs so they can sustain their livelihood and care for themselves and their family.”
Kind Style Shop specializes in high-quality, fashionable, animal-free handbags.  The founder, Rebecca Arum Littman, launched the site last July as a way to bridge the gap between her deep love of animals and her search for chic vegan fashion.
“With an increase in consumer awareness, demand and choices within the vegan food arena, customers are starting to look for cruelty-free options in other areas of their life. When people hear the words ‘vegan fashion’, the majority still envision boring or cheap plastic-y feeling materials. We want to change that perception by offering a wide range of chic handbags, in a variety of materials, that just happen to be vegan. Last year, as part of our company’s Kind Giving Program, we donated a large number of handbags to Dress for Success Columbus, an organization near and dear to us, and we are very excited to partner on this upcoming donation drive.” Littman explains.
Together, both companies will share a space at the Shops at Worthington offering beautiful vegan and eco-chic handbags for customers to purchase.
