GDC: Fab Skinny Spring Cocktails!

We went on Good Day Columbus this morning and made these three fab Skinny Spring Cocktails! Cheers!

Bikini-Ready Margarita

Ingredients: 
2 ounces tequila
1 ounce aloe juice
1 ounce cucumber puree
1/2 ounce lime juice
1/2 ounce agave nectar
Directions:

  • Make the cucumber puree in blender
  • Place all ingredients into a shaker and fill with ice
  • Shake vigorously to combine all ingredients
  • Strain into a chilled martini glass
  • Garnish with a thin disc of cucumber

Nutrition: about 100 calories instead of 300-325 calorie margarita

 

Berry Skinny Cocktail

1 oz cran-raspberry or berry LaCroix sparkling water (zero calories!!)
1 oz skinny girl vodka
3 oz light cranberry juice
squeeze of lime
garnish with lime twist

Directions:

  • Shake everything except LaCroix in a cocktail shaker with ice
  • Strain into a chilled martini glass
  • top with LaCroix and garnish with a lime twist

Nutrition: about 100 calories instead of 200 calorie berry martini

 

Skinny (& Spiked) Pink Lemonade

image.jpeg31.25 oz. Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
3 oz. light cranberry juice
1 oz. no sugar added orange juice
2 oz. club soda (some soda waters can be high in sodium so make sure you get the one with the lowest sodium)
Lemon wedge

Directions:

  • Add rum and cranberry juice in ice-filled glass
  • Top with club soda and orange juice
  • Garnish with lemon wedge

Nutrition: about 100 calories instead of 200 calorie lemonade spritzer cocktail
