“After attending and covering several fashion shows along the east coast, we felt it imperative to bring a great show to the Ohio/Kentucky area,” says Tiffany Michelle Brown, co-producer of the Spring Fashion Showcase.

The fashion show incorporated designers as well as stylists. “We thought that incorporating some of the areas best stylist was important because it showcases their creative ability with clothing,” Brown says. The designers featured in the show were Horacio Nieto, Angelo Culvert, Donna Messano Metz of Caledonia Chic Designs, and Jandyce Wilkerson (Emory James). The stylists that also have sets in the show are Sydney (Uncommon) Murdock, Jyana Jones (JyMilaanStyles), Imani Smith, Gregor McCord, and Leah Porter (Fashion Yellow).

Hats will be the most chic spring accessory, and they were seen on the runway in all different sizes, colors, and shapes.

“We felt it was important to incorporate kids, adult women, and men’s fashion for the spring season. We had something for everyone,” Brown notes.

As a survivor of Domestic Violence, Brown has done a lot of public speaking on the subject at different community events held in Cincinnati and Kentucky. “We felt it was important to donate a portion of the proceeds to an organization that is near to our hearts,” says Brown. The nonprofit organization, She’s Healed, was chosen because it helps women of all ages who have been affected by violence. She’s Healed facilitates community education and several services to women around the Cincinnati area.
