Mobile Family Practice & Aesthetics

Sheryl Lehman is the founder and owner behind Mobile Family Practice & Aesthetics. “I offer facial aesthetics, comprehensive primary care, and acute care in my office one day per week or in a client’s home,” she says.

This unique offering of in-home appointments are limited to the Northeast Columbus region and includes Worthington, Westerville, New Albany, Gahanna, and Johnstown.

Lehman’s practice also provides health care without health insurance at affordable rates with no hidden costs and no unexpected medical bills following the services she provides.

“Clients are treated with personally guided care on their time either in-home or in-office,” she adds.

The inspiration for her “mobile” business came from past physicians she encountered who made house calls to treat people in the comfort of his or her home.

“I used that model to further offer not only primary care and acute care, but also facial aesthetics to clients with or without health insurance from infants to adults,” she explains. “I have worked in hospitals, urgent cares, and primary care settings all of which cater to the institution providing medical treatment. The clients are rescheduling and arranging their lives around the medical provider. I seek to change this by offering medical and aesthetic services around the clients’ lives and by offering house calls and office hours.”

Lehman’s practice comes with 14 years of experience as a women’s health nurse before she obtained her Master’s as a Family Nurse Practitioner 5 years ago.

“During these past five years, I have worked in primary care, urgent care and I obtained certifications in Neurotoxin injection (Botox Cosmetic), Dermal Filler, and Chemical Peels this year,” says Lehman. “I have gravitated toward performing procedures since specializing in urgent/acute care and this led to my interest in facial aesthetics.”

There are a range of services available from Mobile Family Practice & Aesthetics and include comprehensive primary care, acute/sick care, and facial aesthetics.

“Primary care is multifaceted and serves as a central hub for clients who may have one or multiple chronic diseases, mental health, and preventative care,” says Lehman. “The services which clients can expect at a primary care visit include: Review of past medical history, review of systems, physical examination, and additional testing if required such as an EKG onsite.”

The acute/sick care addresses a specific set of symptoms and can include rapid strep test, urine dip stick, or EKG. Cosmetic facial aesthetics includes neurotoxin injections, dermal filler, and chemical peels.

“Individualized care is provided to ensure that the client has realistic expectations for the desired end result and consultations are free of charge,” Lehman explains about cosmetic services. “The client can expect to have a health history, focused examination of the face, and discuss areas of concern. Clients will be given discharge instructions and printed material for further education about their aftercare.”

While already offering a variety of services, Lehman hopes to continue to expand those services. She says she will likely add microneedling and microdermabrasion within the next 6 months. She also hopes to keep her entire practice mobile, which prevents the need for stationary equipment and requiring her patients to travel for services.

“If readers are interested in learning more about my practice and services, I have office hours on Tuesdays from 10a-8p located inside Thrive Massage & Wellness at 4955 N Hamilton Blvd Columbus, Ohio 43230,” she adds.
