The Short North Sunday Bazaar

The Short North is bringing its next Short North Sunday Bazaar to the community on September 15.

According to Betsy Pandora, Executive Director at the Short North Alliance, the new shopping event in the Short North Arts District will feature pop-up shop experiences in and outside of stores, including artist demonstrations, performances, pop-up vendors, bites and beverages, and more.

When asked what inspired the Short North Sunday Bazaar, Pandora says that it’s the Short North Arts District itself. “There is nothing quote like it in Columbus,” she says. “Where else can you find dozens of boutique retailers, amazing restaurants, and exciting art galleries all within several, walkable blocks? Retailers have banded together to create an amazing Sunday filled with unexpected experiences that help us celebrate strolling, shopping, and discovering something new in the Short North Arts District.”

The event was created by the Short North Alliance in partnership with several Short North retailers including Global Gifts Short North, Jolie Occasions, Red Giraffe Designs, Rowe Boutique, Samson Men’s Emporium, Store 5a, The Blowout Bar, and Thread.

The team of collaborators will welcome pop-ups in dozens of spaces, both in the stores and outside on the sidewalks. And Pandora adds that because the event is on a Sunday then it’s an approachable and laid back complement to brunch in the District.

The event will be held September 15 from 11am to 4 pm in the Short North Arts District. To learn more about the pop-ups, artist demonstrations, and what else to expect at the Bazaar, click here.
