Karla Palm wanted to find a way to honor her Aunt Yvonne, who she lost to Alzheimer’s a few years ago. Her Aunt Yvonne, she says, was a woman dedicated to doing what made herself happy while always finding time for others.

In an effort to help her aunt’s legacy live on, Palm launched a small shop that offers unique home decor, new and vintage pieces, organic teals, and local and international handmade goods at Yvonne’s.

In the store customers will find several items including vintage tea pots, organic tea, unique and retro cocktail sets and glasses as well as bowls, baskets, and wall hangings.

“I also support local artisans who offer jewelry, purses, sun catchers, natural skincare products, and artwork,” she explains. “Yvonne’s also has a section dedicated to relaxation and meditation, offering incense and accessories, candles, smudging sages, and buddha items.”

Prices for items at Yvonne’s range from $2.50 to $120, averaging around $25.

“A lot of the items I carry are harder to find outside of Yvonne’s, but reasonably priced,” she says. “I provide exceptional customer service and create an environment when you walk in and feel at home. Yvonne’s is also supporting organizations that help victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, so by supporting Yvonne’s you’ll also be supporting those organizations.”
