Embody Health and Wellness
2020 is the year of self-care and Sharon Dean, Owner of Embody Healthy and Wellness and a license massage therapist, is making sure that you achieve your self-care goals this year.
Massage therapy is the core of Embody Health and Wellness and the therapists there use many different techniques to help clients including hot stone, Swedish, cupping, trigger point, deep tissue, sports, oncology, prenatal, and couples massages.
“Our signature massage is a ‘Hot Swedish,’ which is a blend of hot stone and Swedish massage,” says Dean. “We also do a lot of cupping and CBD massage. Our esthetics offerings include derma plane, facial, waxing, lash life and tine, and make-up application. Unlike some of the chain studios, every service we provide is customized to focus on the client.”
This month, Embody Health and Wellness opened a new classroom space that allows them to expand wellness offerings.
“Massage therapist Rebecca is a blackbelt in Taekwondo and is a certified teacher in kimodo,” says Dean. “She will begin teaching kimodo classes at Embody in March. Angela’s ‘Amazing Aloes’ and aromatherapy classes are a great way to learn more about essential oils and always include a make-and-take.”
Embody Health and Wellness also sees importance in promoting other women, so Dr. Williams of Green Harvest Health supplies their CBD products and teaches classes. And this spring, the Ohio Baby Co. will be joining the team to teach classes for parents-to-be.
Embody Health and Wellness now hosts bridal showers, baby showers, and other small events. “You get use of the classroom for your group and can add on massages, facials, or even an aromatherapy class,” adds Dean.
Embody Health and Wellness is located at 3716 Ridge Mill Drive in Hilliard, off of I-270 at Fishinger Road at the Mill Run Shopping Center.
