Mom Life with Jennifer Sanger

Hello, allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Jennifer Sanger, and I am the owner of local online children’s boutique Jamison & Bexley! I believe in providing adventurous clothes for adventurous kids. I also have a podcast called real life struggles with Jennifer Sanger and blog called Real Life | Mom Life. I am excited to be here with all of you and to share a little glimpse into a Moms Life!

March is Women’s history month. I didn’t realize that this was just established in the 1980’s!  Only 40+ years ago [excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor] and it has me thinking “what kind of life do I want to lead so that I contribute to Women’s History Month.” This is a question we should all be asking ourselves. What are we doing to make an impact in today’s world?

I have always wanted to leave a legacy for my children. I want to show them that mommy can do all the things daddy can do and SO MUCH MORE! A little history about me: Before the pandemic shut down Ohio, I was working for a fortune 500 corporate company. I felt my mental health declining, so I decided to leave and look for part time work and work on scaling my business. Luckily for me, I was not able to get part-time work and was stuck at home with my two kids. I used that time to invest in myself and my business and in the last year my business was featured in US Weekly and on the Drew Barrymore show! I am excited to tell my kids when they are older that their mommy never gave up and that during a pandemic, she made the most of what she had and grew her company. Also, during this pandemic our first woman of color vice president was elected to office. Now little girls EVERYWHERE can say that they too can have a seat at any table they chose to.

It is important that women’s history month is not just celebrated during March but celebrated every day and we talk about all the accomplishments that women have done. What is something that you have done that you never thought you would do? Be proud of that, no matter how big or small it is. You never know who you are inspiring!
