Spice Up Your Life

The leaves are changing and all those autumn colors of deep reds, oranges and brown are here to remind you of all things pumpkin and pumpkin spice. But pumpkin spice isn’t just for your lattes. Now it can be part of your beauty routine.

Our local editor chats with Miranda Little, beauty esthetician, nail technician, and makeup artist at Irelands Salon & Spa II and learns all about their Pumpkin Spice Facial.

“It’s a really fun facial,” begins Little. Adding that she loves doing it for clients. The Pumpkin Spice Facial (Skin Script) uses a pumpkin enzyme and fall spice mask that give it a strong fall fragrance. It also comes with pumpkin oils and lotions that they use for lite massages, like for your hands.

“You’re gonna leave thinking, ‘I need to go and get a Pumpkin Spice Latte,'” Little says.

Little also shares that this is a great facial for all skin types. It’s all about the results and using all natural and organic ingredients. The facial can also be customized to skin type. Like if a client has a skin condition like rosacea, the pumpkin enzyme can be diluted down. Or if a client wants a more intense facial, similar to a chemical peel or microdermabrasion, they can add to the enzyme.

And if facials aren’t your thing (or you want more), Irelands Spa & Salon has a Pumpkin Spice Mani + Pedi. “We offer the whole spa package,” Little highlights.
